Synopsis : Fabrizio, Dante et Roberto ont 14 ans. Ils habitent le malfamé ghetto Z.E.N. (Zone Expansion Nord), à Palerme.
Entre pairs, en absence des adultes qui sont-ils?
Les lois non écrites du quartier produisent solitude, dépaysement, privation. De la part des protagonistes il n’y a pas de révolte, mais l’attachement entre eux est leur tendre force et leur abri naturel.
A deux, ou en groupe, ils construisent un petit monde intime, qu’ils cachent et révèlent, qu’ils nourrissent d’émotions et de corps. Le corps point de départ, de retour, seul repère.
Au moment où Roberto et Dante partent, Fabrizio, reste seul avec Aurora. C’est avec elle que jaillissent les premiers éclats de son adolescence.
L’âge ingrat de Fabrizio isole et protège. Puis le collège se termine, et il faut s’imaginer, encore une fois seul, ce qu’on va pouvoir devenir.

SYNOPSIS in english
Fabrizio, Dante and Roberto are 13 or 14 years old. They live in Z.E.N., Zona Espansione Nord, the slum neighborhood of Palermo, Sicily.
Away from the adults, who are they?
The unwritten laws of the ghetto produce solitude, disorientation and privation.
But he three kids do not rise up: their friendship becomes their gentle strenght and their natural safe haven.
In couples, or small groups, they build up their own private worlds, sometimes shown, sometimes hidden, always fed by their emotions and their bodies.
Their bodies as a starting point, a return point, their sole point of reference.
When Fabrizio is alone with Aurora, his friend or maybe girlfriend, he experiences the first sudden sparkles of his teenage years. His awkward age isolates him and protects him.
Then highschool is over, and they have to invent, all by themselves, a possibile future.
